Wildcat Camp (Point Reyes) Backpacking and Hiking
(May 2011)
Troop 109 went backpacking to Wildcat Camp from the Bear Valley Visitors Center at Point Reyes. The 8 mile hike there (via Arch Rock) was tough, but everyone made it. It was a beautiful trek through the forest, meadows, ferns, and hills. The next morning, T109 hiked 2 miles on the beach to Alamere Falls, followed by the 7 mile return hike back. Playing on the beach was well worth the effort of getting there!
